Gets the job done quietly & efficiently!, December 23, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Sapphire Radeon HD 6570 1GB DDR3 HDMI/DVI-D/VGA PCI-Express Graphics Card 100323-2L (Personal Computers) I've ordered two of these little cards when building PCs for older relatives. They're a decent step up from integrated graphics; in a brief test I got about 35 fps in WoW (in a very populated area) with graphics set to Ultra.
Also, the card is bus-powered, no dedicated PSU cable required! And the active cooling (teeny, tiny fan) helps keep my peace of mind vs similar cards with passive cooling. Also, the fan is pretty much silent. The only time I could hear it is when I disconnected the case fans and fired up some games. Even then it was barely noticeable with the case all closed up.
Finally, please do not buy this if you're an avid gamer :) This card will more than suffice for casual gaming. Needless to say it performs mundane tasks and plays all manner of HD video like a champ!
Love everything about this. Great product for the price., March 11, 2013 By RockNRollerDad (sandy hook, CT) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Sapphire Radeon HD 6570 1GB DDR3 HDMI/DVI-D/VGA PCI-Express Graphics Card 100323-2L (Personal Computers) Put this into a Dell Dimension 9600 with a 375 watt power supply. Based on previous reviews, people said Dell PS are usually underrated. Followed instructions, went in successfully, no problems and everything was up and running about 15 minutes later. Bought this for Simcity 5 and cranked up the graphics on it. The game worked wonderfully without any pauses or glitches. I'm very happy about it. My Windows experience went from 4.1 to 5.6 and it's now based on my CPU, not my graphics. Definitely recommend this for the price and quality of the product.
