Hard to believe how good this little box is!, January 19, 2013 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Livestream Broadcaster (Electronics) I've had it for about five months now. In that time Livestream has significantly upgraded the firmware and the entire service. It's a mature and reliable product.
Read all the information here and on Livestream's site. It does have some limitations but they're reasonable and easy to deal with.
I also built a PC for thousands of dollars to do everything I need on Livestream. It has much greater capability but it doesn't fit in my pocket, run for hours on batteries of fit the accessory shoe on my camera.
If you can live within its limited capabilities (and it's pretty capable) you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Works with DSLR too : ) - Very Impressive, January 2, 2013 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Livestream Broadcaster (Electronics) So far I have done 3 events and this box is just one amazing piece of equipment, must have gadget for a wedding videographer.
Works great with my Sony VG30 camcorder and Nikon D600 DSLR.
I love the fact that I can create event on fly without a PC using the LiveStream Android App on my phone.. video quality is excellent and you have a choice of upto 5 different video broadcast quality.
Setup was a breeze ... 3 steps and thats all there is to it, stores WiFi network to connect easily. You may want to invest in atleast 6 AA Eneloop rechargeable batteries.
I cannot find a flaw in this device to give anything less than 5 stars, works exactly what I had imagined and then some. Magnetic tabs to hold battery panel is a prime example that goes on to show that LiveStream design engineers were thinking ahead of curve.
Compact, lightweight, well lit display, excellent product overall made me login here and say few good words about this... Read more

Handy but with a few issues, March 11, 2013 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Livestream Broadcaster (Electronics) *** Update 3/25/13 ***
I still like the Broadcaster, however, when I used it with high quality Lithium Pro batteries the unit failed, I think it overheated. I've done several tests and a couple of events, one for almost 1.5 hours with inexpensive batteries without any heat issues. When I used the lithium batteries for a wedding after about 20 minutes the unit would not stay connected to my Verizon MiFi device. The signal strength indicator said I had a good signal (it was only a foot away) but the text on the screen said it could not find an Internet connection. So in the middle of the wedding I changed back to the standard batteries and the unit came back up and streamed for another 30 minutes without any problem. The only time I've had this problem is when I've used the lithium batteries. When I pulled the lithium batteries out of the Broadcaster they were very hot to the touch. So I'm staying away from Lithium batteries, I think I can get about 2 hours out of standard... Read more
