Just three months later a lightning strike killed many of our electric items all over the house....and didn't hurt the plasma!! We purchased one for all our important electronics now, so feel comfortable that this item does it's job. Plus, even though it died as it was supposed to to save the television, the company replaced it free!!! Wonderful item!!

I purchase these units for use with flat panel TV's, surround sound systems, computers and anywhere there are electronics installed in a home.
These surge protectors are perfect for my needs:
1) Quality. I only use high quality products in customer installations. These units exude quality both in specs and looks.
2) Protection. These surge protectors have a surge suppression rating of 3330 Joules. That's a lot of protection; higher then most in-home surge protector bars.
