The screen was a good size with supposedly good resolution, but it looked horrible. I tried to change screen settings but to no avail. Everything had a fake quality to it, like it was super saturated and poorly digitized. The processor wasn't that fast, it hung up for several seconds at a time, haven't had that happen in a while. Also, the speakers weren't that good, and the keyboard was small. I returned it after about a week of fiddling with it, not worth it at all.

The Amazon ordering was good. Shippment very good. Gateway warranty service VERY poor. I am having trouble with the "kick" stand and have not been able to get Gateway warranty asst.

It is hard to figure out how to adjust the screen brightness! It's not behind any plastic, it's not on the unit's exterior, it's not on the keyboard... If you search the help, it sends you in a circle from one help page to the other, back to the first one. It's too bright to use at night. FAIL. I found it eventually, after many hours, under "screen resolution" which makes NO SENSE
