I was afraid this fan will not provide enough lightening for my case as I have decided to go with this fan just for the look instead of getting a lighting kit (I had my eyes on the NZXT Sleeved LED kit). However the fan turned out to be just fine and it provides enough lightening for my CM HAF 912 Advanced case and thanks to it the GPU temperature are running 2-3�C cooler than before and that is good enough for me. Also the fan did not make my PC any noisier provided I have a V6GT cooler and 2x200m fans and a single 120m fan. It is totally satisfying for me, and it has not caused any problems even though I have had it for over 2 months now.

I was going to replace a black 140mm Cooler Master rear exhaust fan on my HAF X with this fan, simply for looks. The Xigmatek moves more air, but it is significantly louder than the Cooler Master.
Now, it is normal for a fan that moves more air to be louder. But instead of simply a louder "whoosh" of air moving, this fan gives off an annoying buzzing noise. If you have a loud case to begin with you may not notice it, but if your case is remotely quiet the buzz might drive you crazy as it did me (I returned it).
Still, I gave it 3 stars as it looks nice and moves a lot of air.

I have a Cooler Master Storm Scout case. I needed 2 140mm fans. 1 for the front and 1 for the top. My other fans are red and so I wanted some more red to match. At the time Amazon had these priced the best for glowing red 140 mm fans. So I figured I would give them a try. I am very pleased with their performance. They have a lot of airflow. I have an intel 17-2600k overclocked and it is always nice and cool thanks to these fans. The red glow of the fans is solid but not overbearing. Had the price been different I probably would have gone with others. I am glad that I got them. I have used them for quite some time now and with a lot of use had not a single problem or complaint with them. I recommend them to anyone!!
