If you're contemplating it, read this!, August 20, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: CyberpowerPC Gamer Ultra GUA880 Desktop (Black/Blue) (Personal Computers) *EDIT* All of those bad reviews, the ones on ALL the cyberpower pc's on amazon, I know what those all are. There is literally only ONE thing very bad about this computer, the power supply. It's a crappy power supply and fails very often, people should be partly blaming cyberpower for this, but not completely. Yes, cyberpower should have made a better choice in the power supply for this build, but it's also the fault of the people who made those reviews, they didn't do enough research, didn't check what kind of power supply and look up reviews on it. Which are all horrible. I had one of the same problems, random shutting down. But unlike them, I didn't give up and return the computer only to get another one with another fualty power supply. I looked into the problem, replaced the power supply with a 40 dollar 500w one by cooler master. This solved all my problems and I've been happily gaming and video editing for the past 6 months now. So no, cyberpower is not a bad company, they have... Read more

Great bang for the bucks!, July 12, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: CyberpowerPC Gamer Ultra GUA880 Desktop (Black/Blue) (Personal Computers) All I have to say is that this computer, as is, operates beyond my expectations. Granted, some of the components can and should be upgraded for optimal performance, which it can be at a reasonable cost (graphics card, processor, etc). Out of the box, the computer worked perfectly. Definitely a big upgrade from what I was using. I have to get used to all this power at my fingertips. It runs quietly and hasn't given me any problems so far. Kudos to CyberpowerPC for this computer. Coming from a long time Intel fan, the AMD FX 4100 surely impressed me. If you are looking for an upgrade from a tired, old computer, I recommend this one hands down.
Pros
1. Personally, I do not like all the extra software that comes with a shelf computer, this one comes as is and ready for customization to your specification. None of this other junk the computer manufactures try to cram down your throat. I just loads Windows 7 and that's it. I like that, because I want to choose what I want on... Read more

Good system for the price, August 28, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: CyberpowerPC Gamer Ultra GUA880 Desktop (Black/Blue) (Personal Computers) I purchased the system for $500 spent another $250 on upgrades
1) Visiontek ATI Radeon 7770 HD 1gb GDDR5
2) Crosair 16gb DDR
3) 600 watt power supply
$750 i now have kick ass gaming rig. Windows rating of 7.2 for processor, 7.6 memory (RAM), 7.4 Graphics, 7.4 Gaming graphics, primary hard disk 5.9
Cons: System has very limited expansion, the graphics card blocks the PCI express x1 slot which should have been used for my Sound Blaster X-FI HD 7.1 sound card
