- Featuring a 92 mm PWM fan and a cooling capacity of 120 Watts, the Accelero L2 Plus ensures components are performing under ideal temperature.
- The pre-applied MX-4 thermal compound allows enhanced thermal conductivity from the GPU, thus considerably extending its service life.
- In order to boost the cooling efficiency of RAM and VR, the Accelero L2 Plus comes with the G-1, an electrically non-conductive thermal glue used to affix RAM and VR heatsinks on the VGA board.
- Unlike generic thermal tapes, the G-1 offers high thermal conductivity with excellent adhesiveness. Moreover, removing the G-1 is extremely easy without leaving any residues.
- Operated by a low noise impeller enclosed in a patented fan holder to reduce the buzzing sound when the fan is spinning, the Accelero L2 Plus is barely audible even running at full load.

Fits an ATI/AMD FirePro V4900, very low temperatures, October 22, 2012 This review is from: ARCTIC Accelero L2 Plus VGA Cooler - nVidia & AMD, 92mm Efficient PWM Fan, SLI/CrossFire (Personal Computers) I installed this product on an AMD FirePro V4900. The original AMD fan was obviously audible and didn't automatically spin down at idle. A few thoughts:
* The fit was exact. No modifications were necessary. I expected this because the conventional GPU on which this FirePro is based is on the supported list. The instructions are confusing, but coherent.
* The kit comes with a special glue to attach small heatsinks to the RAM chips. This glue takes a long time to set and doesn't harden for hours. Because the card will be mounted upside-down in most systems with the heatsink facing down, I recommend attaching the heatsinks at night and waiting until morning to install the card. They may shift or fall off otherwise.
* On my motherboard, the fan blocks 1 neighboring PCIe slot.
* The fan is effectively silent. It's no louder than the fan in my Seasonic S12-II 430, which is also effectively silent. I have it running constantly at 7V from a molex connector. The fan... Read more

After looking everywhere, this turned out to be the right product at the right price. Installation is no breeze, but if you have been building systems for any amount of time you'll be able to figure it out. I watched a couple of videos of people installing theirs just to be sure, and I still missed a couple of things.
This might have been particular to my card, but it had its own voltage regulator heatsink for the 3 VRs going across the front of the card (front to me meaning behind where you plug the video cables) and two screws originally helped mount that heatsink there. I removed those screws when I removed the casing of the card and never even realized the screws were supposed to go back in there until I went to take the card back out to install some new RAM and it fell off the card.
