9 of 9 people found the following review helpful  First impressions: So far, so good!, November 13, 2012 This review is from: Dell ST2321L 23-Inch Screen LED Monitor (Personal Computers) I did one day shipping with amazon prime, and it delivered in under 24 hours, which was just great! I've had it for about 30 minutes. Everything was easy. Packaging was great. Setting the base up was a breeze, and very easy, even without looking at the instructions. I plugged it in, turned it on, and it works great out of the box. I calibrated it with my mac and it looks even better! I LOVE the controls on this thing. Monitor controls have always driven me crazy! On this they are on the right side, and it's touch sensitive. When you press one, the menu comes up just next to it on the screen, and clearly shows you where to press. It's beautifully done! So like I said, so far so good! I'm tempted to buy another! 12 of 15 people found the following review helpful  Good basic monitor, but lacking in a few key areas., November 16, 2012 This review is from: Dell ST2321L 23-Inch Screen LED Monitor (Personal Computers) This is your standard Dell 23" HD display - the 4-button control on the side bezel is pretty typical of a dell monitor, although it lacks an easy way to switch between inputs (a process that takes several keypresses). Also lacks a power output for Dell's speaker bars, although it has the clips to mount one, as well as an audio line output that allows you to de-embed it from the incoming HDMI signal. The biggest failing on this monitor is the lack of a VESA mount option. I can't fathom why Dell would not include this most basic of display features. I initially ordered this to use with my laptop, but I need a VESA mount to do that with my limited desk space. Fortunately, I have a slightly older Dell 23" in the house that has the mount, so I'll be doing a monitor swap. Otherwise, this one would be going back. Lack of a DisplayPort input is a minor downer, given that virtually all of Dell's desktops use DP, but a conversion cable is an easy fix for that.
