Perfect!, November 25, 2012 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: The Joy Factory Tournez Tripod and Microphone Stand Mount with MagConnect Technology for iPad 4th/3rd/2nd Gen (MMA102) (Personal Computers) I already had The Joy Factory's carbon seat bolt mount for the iPad, but went a step further in using the iPad inside the car. It is now the central point and this mount I have secured within the double DIN space with a polycarbonate face covering the opening with just a circle cut out to allow the mount to pass through. My iPad is even more stable with less shaking now, which is needed as my solid engine/tranny mounts send vibrations into the cabin. The magnetic lock is a really clever design in my opinion versus the older clip-on plastic pieces. Definitely more durable in the long run.
Haven't really been disappointed with their products that I have purchased. Would easily go the same route if I were to do it once again.

It worked without any issue with my iPad2. I will soon use it with my ipad3. Hopefully there will not be a fitting issue. Only complain I have is that it is a bit short and really does not go to the middle between the two seats. Therefore, one of my kids have to sit in the middle seat. Hope the pictures help with your decision.

NOT HAPPY ANYMORE! I just tried the hard shell case on my 3rd gen iPad and it does NOT fit. I am sending an email to Joy Factory to inquire why is that the case since on my packageing it clearly states that it works with the new iPad (3rd gen). I am taking one star away until the issue is resolved.
