Too Small for LaCie Desktop d2 Quadra Hard Drive, August 14, 2009 This review is from: LaCie Cozy 3.5-Inch Hard Drive Carrying Case 130903 (Grey) (Personal Computers) Ordered this over the phone directly from LaCie for my Desktop d2 Quadra 500GB LaCie External Hard Drive. Sales associate assured me it would fit. It doesn't. The hard drive is 6.8" x 6.3" x 1.7" but the 3.5 case (internal dimensions) is 9.1" x 5.7" (too narrow) x 2". It's a nice case, but you have to really stretch it out of shape to use with this hard drive - measure and order with care (and maybe take the LaCie sales rep's assurances with a grain of salt)!

Perfect for Western Digital Elements HDDs, May 9, 2010 By Irish Rose (USA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: LaCie Cozy 3.5-Inch Hard Drive Carrying Case 130903 (Grey) (Personal Computers) The Western Digital WD Elements 500 GB USB 2.0 Desktop External Hard Drive WDBAAU5000EBK-NESN fits very nicely in this case. The power adapter fits best on the side with the HDD, but the case does store everything. I always use antistatic bags, so I don't worry too much if the metal prong of the power adapter bumps into a port. There is some space lengthwise, but there is a band that holds the HDD fairly well. It is possible to fit the power adapter on the side with the mesh holder, but it would be a squeeze zippering the whole thing shut (but I have done it).

Pros
* Durable and non-flexible outer body - Basically, an EVA case
* Outside pocket is a plus
* Interior memory foam is thick and of high quality
* Nice sized inside pocket
* Strong inside band keeps my Kindle in place
* Not heavy
Overall, the only negative is that it is, most likely, too small for many LaCie hard drives. However, on its own merits, there are no real negatives. This case is of high quality. I bought mine for ~$10 - An excellent price.
