I am primarily a photographer, however I spend considerable amounts of time in Photoshop and Illustrator for photo editing, logo creation and web design. After long fighting with the pen tool, and wishing that retouching was smoother, the Wacom tablet had LONG been on my wish list!
DESIGN
This is without a doubt one of the most beautiful low-end graphic tablets on the market. The aluminum finish fits perfectly with Apple computers (and PC's too) and it is clear that only the best materials have been used in production. The USB cord is long enough to go from my desktop to the back of my computer - this doesn't seem like a small deal, but another brand I tried didn't think of this apparently! The pen itself is ergonomic, fitting very nicely in the hand! It is comfortable to use over extended periods of time, and as an added bonus I find that using the tablet puts less strain on my hand (being at rest on the side of the wrist), and in turn my... Arrived when specified and you couldn't tell that it wasn't new -- it seems to be in perfect condition with no blemishes.
