This is a replacement for an earlier and older WiFi card.
My laptop has the older two wire antenna and so the middle antenna connection is left unconnected and it works just fine with that kind of setup.
Windows 7 x64 detected and downloaded the correct driver and it was ready to go in about 30 seconds after power-up.
Laptop is a Lenovo 3000 C200

The difference between the two is night and day. I used to be lucky to get one bar of connectivity in my building with the old card, but I routinely get three if not four bars with the new card. No more disconnects because of poor signal strength, and the install was easy as pie. Considering the price, I highly recommend this card to anyone thinking about an upgrade or a replacement.

Those with large fingers are advised to have tweezers on hand for the antenna cables.
