Know what to expect and you'll be pleased, April 18, 2012 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Lenovo H420 77525GU Desktop (Black) (Personal Computers) I really only purchased this computer from Amazon because it was $300 when I got it. It is not the greatest computer by any means but you need to realize what you spent on it. I really bought it to start upgrading the internal parts and make it what I would like it to be. It will function out of the box well and be good for browsing the internet and light usage. I would not recommend it for heavy programs or even multimedia. I had no problems streaming music or Netflix but that's the extent of what I tried.
I recently added the Intel Core i5 2500 (yes it does recognize this processor as the slot is an 1155) and upgraded to 8 gigs of RAM. I am currently in the process of getting a new video card and power supply as well to round out the upgrades. Yes I could have spent the extra money I ended up putting into this and just bought one with what I wanted however I really wanted to start learning how the desktop works and mixing, matching, and replacing parts.
