SIMPLY PUT - Amazon is not providing an accurate description of the item they are selling. Two things that I clearly recall has changed with my order: 1) WIRELESS for the desktop was not included 2) wrong processor - I had a Intel Pentium brand processor not an AMD processor. 2 of 3 people found the following review helpful  Good value for the money, August 8, 2012 This review is from: Lenovo IdeaCentre H430 25581PU Desktop (Black/Brushed Aluminum) (Personal Computers) This computer does everything it claims to. I like it fine except for two minor quibbles; * Case design is such that you practically have to put your chin on the floor in order to find the front USB ports * The fan is VERY noisy--I'm about ready to open the case to see if anything can be done to quiet the fan Otherwise, the Lenovo is a good buy. 1 of 2 people found the following review helpful  Very bad experience, August 4, 2012 This review is from: Lenovo IdeaCentre H430 25581PU Desktop (Black/Brushed Aluminum) (Personal Computers) Product arrived in a timely manner, though the package was damaged. When we set up the computer it did not work. A card in the package stated that if the computer did not work, we were not to return it, but to contact the help center. It almost seemed as if the manufacturer expected failure. Anyway, we contacted the help center--which was in the Phillipines. After over an hour on the phone,the help tech was unable to get the computer running. He promised to send us a recovery disc which he guaranteed would solve the problem. After almost two weeks the help disc had not arrived. We called again, and again we were promised that a recovery disc would be in our hands in two days. Four days later, it arrived. We were able to get the computer up and running using this disc, but only time will tell if things continue to go well. Frankly, I am very disappointed with this transaction and cannot recommend this product. Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? |
