Best mousepad-wrist rest combo. Ever., December 29, 2009 By This review is from: 3M Mouse Pad with Gel Wrist Rest, Sunrise Design (MW308SR) (Office Product) I have two absolute requirements in a mouse pad: it must have a hard surface (fabric surfaces just collect cat hair to deposit inside the mouse) and it must have a soft yet smooth wrist rest (fabric rests, even the finest-grained, eventually feel like sandpaper). It's surprisingly hard to find one product that has both and isn't a piece of junk that costs a bundle.
My old standby, a Fellowes pad in thick vinyl-type plastic (like the upholstery found in old cars) wasn't perfect-- the wrist rest was rather hard and I didn't care for its dog-biscuit shape. Then it got old, the pad curled up at the edges and the wrist rest cracked exposing the gel inside. I delayed replacing it, because the few pads that fit my requirements were so pricey.
Santa brought me a 3M mouse pad for Christmas and it is just about perfect. The mousing surface is hard but also toothy, giving it just the right little bit of resistance to the mouse. The gel-filled wrist rest is perfectly... Read more

This mouse Pad does everything it should. It has a wrist rest which makes long usage more bearable. The print is a tad loud but sometimes you feel like a nut sometimes you don't.
